Guess What?? It's My BIRTHDAY!!

OK, first off, we need to say it...Jeff the bartender from The Erin Rose is freakin AWESOME!! We asked the guy at the front desk of our hotel to recommend a good place to go that was NOT on Bourbon Street (more on that later). So he recommended The Erin Rose, which was right across the street from our hotel. We walked in there and at first wanted to leave because it looked icky in the front room, but then Nova suggested we go see what was in the back room. There was only one person at the bar and then the bartender. We explained that we wanted drinks, but not beer, and we had already had hurricanes and absithe this evening, AND my Bday was in 15 mins, so we need drinks. And Jeff the bartender said "oh amazing, I have drinks!!". So he created a special drink, just for me, called "The Fabulous [Saff] (insert actual name here)". It was fruity and delicious!! The other customer there, whose name we didn't get, but was totally cute (except he was smoking - YUCK!! and we're pretty sure he had a GF) actually worked at that bar and Jeff had him taste the drink and Cutie McCutie said that it tasted like Five Alive - and it totally did!! So we had four of "The Fabulous [Saffs]" apiece. And we stopped off at the hotel to make a pit stop, then we're off again because Nova is hungry and we're pretty sure she has a tapeworm.

Overall, my bday is off to a FABULOUS start!!!!!!! :)
